New West Bloomfield Art Van Store Sells More Than Mattresses

At Art Van Furniture's 11th PureSleep store in West Bloomfield, customers are buying more than mattresses.

Art Van spokesperson Diane Charles said during a Tuesday Greater West Bloomfield Chamber ribbon cutting that the company made a decision several years ago to "sell sleep". The result: a patented system that surveys customers and takes specific measurements to determine the mattress and pillow that will help ensure a good night's sleep.

West Bloomfield Township Supervisor Michele Economu Ureste welcomed the company and noted the township is embarking on a study of the Town Center district, which includes the store, and will solicit feedback from residents and business owners.

The new store is located in the northwest corner of Maple and Orchard Lake Road.
