West Bloomfield Brothers Among Crain's Twenty in Their 20s

The Detroit business magazine names Andrew and Ryan Landau to its annual list of successful young adults.

West Bloomfield natives Andrew and Ryan Landau, whose entrepreneurial careers began in middle school and high school, have been named to a list of metro Detroit's rising stars in their 20s.

The brothers are profiled in Crain's Detroit magazine's "Twenty in their 20s", which honors metro Detroiters who have achieved success at a young age. According to Crain's, their online office supplies business Chalkfly is expected to rake in $2 million in revenues this year.

Chalkfly's unique approach in a very competitive market was the subject of an article published earlier this month at TechCrunch.com. The company distinguishes itself, in part, by giving 5 percent of each purchase to teachers.
