West Bloomfield Urgent Care Includes Laser, Weight Loss Services

A new urgent care center at Maple and Farmington Roads in West Bloomfield doesn't just handle patients' after-hours emergencies. 

According to Manager Anthony Vila, Prompt Urgent Care Laser & Weight Loss Center at 6079 W. Maple Rd. can treat cuts, broken bones and other emergency health needs during hours when medical clinics are typically not open. But the clinic also offers laser treatments, both medical and cosmetic, and can help with weight loss.

"Our physicians are all board certified and affiliated with Beaumont Hospital," he said. "They are very experienced." 

The clinic focuses on customer service, Vila said, with an electronic tablet check-in that instantly records patient information, calculates insurance benefits and copays, and allows patients to pay their bills. It cuts down the time people spend in the waiting room, he added. 

"Also because of the tablet system, we can make sure no mistakes are made with patient information," Vila said.
