Beacon of Hope Celebrates 40th Anniversary of Lighthouse

Lighthouse of Oakland County helps those in need find solutions to hunger, homelessness, financial instability, unemployment, and more.

Why go: Lighthouse of Oakland County has serviced the needs of an evolving population for the last four decades. The 21st annual Beacon of Hope is the organization’s largest fundraising event of the year, highlighting the continued importance of Lighthouse in helping those in need find solutions to hunger, homelessness, financial instability, unemployment, and more.

Featuring a sit-down dinner, live and silent auctions and more, Lighthouse’s signature fundraising event is consistently well-attended by dedicated individuals and corporate leaders throughout Oakland County. This year’s entertainment will include music group The Blue Effect and magician Baffling Bill. Auburn Hills-based RGIS, a global leader in inventory, supply chain and merchandising solutions, will be the corporate honoree.
