Light and Healthy Salmon and Avocado Salad

In his latest blog, John Prepolec share a recipe for salmon and avocado salad. Prepolec writes, "Spring is here, and for many of us that means a desire to eat meals that are lighter and healthier, and with as few ingredients as possible. Well I have a recipe for you that meets all of those requirements, a fresh, peppery Salmon and Avocado Salad. Salmon is high in protein and heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids, while avocados pack more potassium than bananas and are known for their anti-inflammatory benefits."

Five Tips for New Drivers

Do you have a new driver in your household? If so, you'll want to share this blog with them. Mark Langschied writes, "For many teens, driving is one exciting step towards independence and adulthood. But as we all know, driving is a privilege, not a right. The Secretary of State closely watches new drivers, and any Michigan driver's license attorney knows that for teens to successfully keep their driving privileges, they must strive to avoid traffic crashes and violations."

Thank you Eriksson Elementary students and teachers!

In her latest blog, Cathy Donaldson shares her mission to send snail mail and thanks local students in helping her succeed. Donaldson writes, "This week I received a large amount of beautiful and creative letters and cards from kids at Eriksson Elementary School in Canton. The seniors especially love items made by children and I know these will bring smiles to many!! I just wish I could post pictures of all of them. Not only is this benefiting the elderly, but it is an easy way to get children involved in helping others. It is also great to see kids writing actual letters, instead of using computers or texting. Thanks so much to the teachers at Eriksson for participating in this project!"
