Good morning, West Bloomfield! Yesterday, I met Carol Lewis of West Bloomfield, who owns Elite Furniture Rentals and Sales, based in Troy. She's starting a new website, "hopefully before the holidays," at decorativ.com. to expand her scope, by providing décor and flash sale events on the online at 40-70 percent off of retail. Seems like an interesting bid for those planning for their next wedding or Bar Mitzvah — are you doing any planning of the sort right now?

Day: Mostly cloudy, with a temperature falling to around 39 degrees by 5 p.m. West northwest wind between 11 and 17 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
Night: A chance of flurries after 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 27 degrees. West wind between 7 and 13 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph.
