The transition from middle school to high school isn't always easy. Share things parents should be discussing with the new freshman.

The West Bloomfield School District resumes classes on Sept. 7, which means many students (and parents) will be using August to prepare for school. Many students, who said goodbye to middle school in June, will be making the transition to in six weeks. The transition from middle school to high school isn't always easy. Freshman will join a pool of older students. Peer pressure may escalate and maintaining good grades will be important because the next transition is usually college.
