Patch Picks: Where to Spend a Snow Day

Patch Picks will be a weekly feature on West Bloomfield Patch highlighting our picks and, more importantly, your picks for a number of things. Patch Picks this week: Places to spend the next snow day

• With plenty of comfortable chairs, fireplaces, a huge children's section and more books than you can shake a sled at, the library is a very popular place to spend a snow day.
• Marshbank Park's newly-improved, regraded sledding hill is a big hit with West Bloomfield Township youth.
• Well-known in town for its award-winning challah loaves, Dakota Bread also makes a great cup of coffee fit for the coldest of snow days.
• For those who like to play hockey in their backyard in the winter, the Inline Hockey Center comes close enough without having to worry about falling in a hole.
• : For those who didn't grow up traversing West Bloomfield's vast ski trails, the Winter Walden Ski Club is a professional teaching service specializing in skiing and snowboarding since 1975.
