Severe Thunderstorms Possible Through Evening
A severe thunderstorm watch is in effect till 7 p.m. Wednesday.
The National Weather Service in Pontiac has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for 17 counties in southeastern Michigan, including Oakland County, until 7 p.m. Wednesday.
During a severe thunderstorm watch, conditions are favorable for development of severe weather, reports the National Weather Service.
If a severe thunderstorm warning is issued, the National Weather Service advises residents to stay indoors and away from areas with loose items that could become flying debris.
