Sunny Skies Could Turn Rainy This Weekend

Saturday should be sunny and clear, but it could rain on Sunday.

According to the National Weather Service's forecast, Mother Nature's still not sure how she wants to usher in April.

For those of you coming home from Spring Break, temperatures are expected to be welcoming this weekend, peaking at about 61 degrees on Saturday before falling once again. Be sure to check out our 'Commute' tab for traffic and gas price updates, and have a safe trip.

Here's a look at the day-by-day forecast this weekend:

Friday: The rest of the day should be sunny and warm with a high near 55 degrees and clear skies. However, a frost advisory is in effect for tonight as the temperatures could fall to 29 degrees. The wind should be calm.

Saturday: It should be a beautiful day for baseball, if you're into that kind of thing. The sky will remain clear and sunny with temperatures at 61 degrees and a calm wind. Clouds could begin to accumulate as night falls and the temperature drops to 42 degrees.

Sunday: The forecast calls for a 30 percent chance of morning showers, so double-check if you're headed to Easter services. The sky should be partly sunny with a high near 57 degrees. The wind will be blowing as hard as 31 m.p.h. The Sunday low is safely above freezing at 39 degrees.

Looking ahead to Monday, there is a 40 percent chance of rain.
