Weekend Countdown: ShirLaLa Concert, Book Fair and Luncheon

It's Monday. The long weekend just ended. However, it's always fun to look ahead at what's going on in and around town for the next weekend. We are going to pick some of the fun events daily to help you plan and count down until it's the weekend again.

Why go: Temple Israel invites you to celebrate Chanukah with them this weekend with a special concert by ShirLaLa. Shira Kline creates outrageously hip Jewish music for kids in her high energy performance. You'll hear songs like the Chanukah Bamba during this one of a kind Chanukah concert. The Temple is also offering an optional latke lunch.  If you are looking for some great Jewish stories to give for the holidays, there will also be a Chanukah Book Fair going on.
