Weekend Weather: No Snow for West Bloomfield

The high temperatures are expected to hover in the 50s, and winds will pick up.

After a week which saw the first snowfall of the season in West Bloomfield, residents can expect that their weekend will remain snow-free.

According to the National Weather Service, Friday is expected to be cold and cloudy. The high forecast for the day will be 43 degrees, and at night, we'll dip down to 34. Winds are expected to pick up as high as 24 mph during the day, but die down to 18 mph at night. 

Saturday is expected to be sunny and warmer. The temperature will climb to 57 degrees during the day, while a southwest wind will blow between 9-15 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. It should make for great weather if you're going to go watch the Orchard Lake St. Mary's varsity football team take on Linden at home in the football playoffs. The game starts at 1 p.m.

Later that night, temperatures are expected to dip back down to 46 degrees.

A 40 percent chance of showers is in the mix Sunday, but temperatures as high as 58 should keep that precipitation from becoming snow. It will be windy, with gusts up to 34 mph. Sunday night calls for more of the same, with temperatures down to 44 degrees.
