Weekend Weather: Sun and Rain in West Bloomfield

Fog is in the forecast Friday morning, followed with sun and thunderstorms on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

Though temperatures were near 60-70 degrees and sunny for most of the week in West Bloomfield, the weekend is expected to offer a varied forecast including sun, fog, and the possibility of thunderstorms, according to the National Weather Service.

Here's a look at the day-by-day forecast:

Friday: Expect a wet morning. A tornado touched down in Washtenaw County on Thursday night and West Bloomfield had rain and thunder. Widespread fog is in the forecast before 10 a.m. Friday, giving way to a mix of sun and clouds with a high near 68 degrees before dipping to 51 Friday night. Calm southwest winds not to exceed 7 m.p.h. are also expected.

Saturday: It should be a sunny day with a high near 73 and a south wind between 5-11 m.p.h., perfect to watch the  but the night offers a 40 percent chance of thunderstorms and showers. The temperature should dip down to 54 Saturday night. 

Sunday: It should be warm and muggy Sunday with a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms as well as a high of 69. Sunday night has a lesser chance of showers and thunderstorms at 30 percent and a low of 54.
