Weekend Weather: Grab an Umbrella, West Bloomfield

Going to the Touch-a-Truck event, the Simsbury Plaza Block Party, or the authors book signing this weekend? You may have to deal with rain.

Greater West Bloomfield area residents can expect to see rain on Saturday after several days of humidity and sunshine, according to the National Weather Service.

Saturday morning comes with a chance of thunderstorms, but even if we get lucky and miss it, we still have a 90 percent chance of showers. Gusts could climb as high as 24 m.p.h., while new rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch are possible. If you're headed to the  event, the , or the , bring an umbrella.

Saturday's temperature will top out at 68 degrees, with a low of 51 degrees.
