Weekend Weather: Warm Few Days Ahead with Highs Near 90 Degrees

Though it's a little on the warm side, this is going to be a good weekend to get outside, take in some outdoor dining downtown and enjoy another relatively calm summer weekend.

According to the National Weather Service, Saturday promises to be mostly sunny, with a high near 87 degrees. The winds will be calm most of the day, picking up in the afternoon and making for a perfect day for the , going on at Cranbrook from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday.

Saturday night will also be clear and calm, with a low around 64 degrees.

Sunday will be a little warmer, with a high around 90 degrees. Sunday night, there's a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, with the skies mostly cloudy and a low around 70 degrees.

Looking ahead to Monday, get ready for more hot weather, with a high near 91 degrees and a 40 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms.
