West Bloomfield Weekend Weather: Showers and Storms

Rain is expected to fall as the low temperatures dip near freezing.

After a week of alternating between sun and clouds, West Bloomfield is in for more of the same guessing game this weekend.

According to the National Weather Service, Friday is expected to be cold and rainy. The chance of rain is 40 percent, while a slight wind will gust from 3-6 mph. The low will drop to 36 degrees — a great night to stay in and watch Game 7 of the World Series, perhaps.

Saturday is expected to be partly cloudy, possibly rainy, and cold. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected and the low will hover around 50 degrees. Thunderstorms are expected and the wind will gust around 5-9 mph. That type of weather should fare well for Orchard Lake St. Mary's running backs as they in the first round of the MHSAA football playoffs at 1 p.m.
