Why go: Brides-to-be can try on dresses by custom designer Claire Pettibone. Designer representatives will be on site to show off the entire bridal collection and answer questions. According to the West Bloomfield bridal shop located inside , Pettibone gowns are made from, "custom, one-of-a-kind laces, embroideries, and fabrics."

Where: Detroit Zoological Park, 8450 W. 10 Mile Rd., Royal Oak

When: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday

Why go: The ever-so-popular Bunnyville returns to the Detroit Zoo Saturday. The annual celebration gives children the opportunity to hang out with the Easter Bunny, enjoy treats and crafts, play games and win prizes. Two of a Kind will perform in addition to a live mini-musical of "The Bunny Follies." The cost is $6 with a canned food donation, but free for members. When: 1-4 p.m. Sunday

Why go: The Greater West Bloomfield Historical Society is hosting an Open House at the Orchard Lake Museum on Sunday. You can go to learn about the history of libraries in West Bloomfield, from the 1938 co-op at Westacres which eventually grew up into a new library in 1966, to the Main Library's beginnings in 1934.   • If you’re looking for a gourmet meal, head to the Easter brunch at Northern Lakes Seafood Company (39495 Woodward Ave., Bloomfield Hills) at 10 a.m. Sunday. For $36.95, guests can dine on foods from five stations, including a carving station, omelet station, breakfast, entrée and desserts stations, as well as coffee, tea and soft drinks that are included. The Easter Bunny is also expected to pay the young diner a visit. For reservations, call 248-646-7900.
  • Andiamo (6676 Telegraph Rd., Bloomfield Hills) also hosts an annual Easter brunch, set at 11 a.m. this Sunday. Guests can be seated at the Bloomfield Hills location at the 11 a.m. meal or at 1 p.m. for brunch. Easter dinner will also be served, with a 3 and 5 p.m. dinning time. The cost is $28.95 for adults or $12.95 for children under 12. Call 248-865-9300 for reservations.
  • The Moose Preserve Bar & Grill (43034 Woodward Ave., Bloomfield Township) will hold its Easter brunch and dinner event from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. Guests can dine for $8.99-24.99. An a la carte brunch menu will be available until noon, with the full menu and specials—such as fresh fish and prime rib—will be available for the remainder of the day.
