Every year, at Shepherd King Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod, we celebrate Advent as the Christmas season gets under way. Advent, which means “coming” or “arrival,” celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ. The Advent season runs for four weeks, beginning on the fourth Sunday before Christmas and continuing up to Christmas Eve.
We invite you to join us for our Wednesday Advent Services, on Dec. 4th, 11th and 18th. Dinner is at 6:15pm. Worship will begin at 7:15pm. If you plan on attending dinner, we encourage bringing a dish to pass. If you are unable to bring a dish... we welcome your visit.
