Oakland Literacy Council Tutor Training

Become a literacy tutor and help change a life. Learn how to help adults learn to read or improve reading skills. After the three training sessions, you will be assigned a student who is eager to learn skills so he or she can earn a GED, complete job applications, get a driver’s license or read to a child. The mission of the Oakland Literacy Council is to erase illiteracy in our county. Support this important work by becoming a tutor.
