Comedy Benefit Supports Jewish Community Center Inclusion Program

Comedy for KAT will raise funds so that kids with special needs can enjoy programs at the JCC in West Bloomfield.

A Dec. 12 comedy fundraiser at Mark Ridley's Comedy Castle will benefit a program that offers kids with special needs the opportunity to fully participate in programming at the Jewish Community Center in West Bloomfield

Comedy for KAT will raise funds, awareness and support for Kids All Together, an award-winning inclusion program.

Money raised at the event "go directly toward helping children with special needs learn, play, and socialize with their typically developing peers," said Nichole Shotwell, director of the Sarah & Irving Pitt Child Development Center. ”It provides an opportunity for children to come to camp who might not otherwise have the opportunity."
