Jewish Community Center In-Line Hockey Program Director Dies

A celebration of Theresa Fulgenzi's life will be held Sunday, 11 a.m., at The Jewish Community Center.

Theresa Ann Fulgenzi, long-time director of the in-line hockey program at the Jewish Community Center in West Bloomfield, died Aug. 19. 

The 50-year-old Bloomfield Hills resident had been ill with cancer. 

Friends have set up a Facebook page to honor her memory, and memorial tributes may be made to the Jewish Community Center's athletic department. 

A celebration of Fulgenzi's life will be held Sunday, 11 a.m. at The Jewish Community Center, 6600 W. Maple Rd., West Bloomfield. 

According to an obituary published at desmondfuneralhome.com, she was preceded in death by her father, Robert, and is survived by her mother Rose Mary Sherrard (John); siblings Lois Pescea (Lee), Robert (Lori), Linda Armaly, Ronald (Jill) and Donald (Nancy); grandmother Josephine McKenney; and many nieces and nephews.
