Jewelry Taken from Post Oak Drive Home in West Bloomfield

Police detectives are investigating the break-in, which happened on Jan. 18.

West Bloomfield Township Police detectives are investigating the theft of about $3,000 worth of jewelry from a home on Post Oak Drive.

According to Lieutenant Curt Lawson, the residents left home at 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 18 and returned at 8:40 p.m. to find a back window and glass sliding door open. Lawson said the master bedroom and bathroom had been ransacked.

Footprints from the home led to the driveway, where a vehicle may have been waiting, Lawson said. Police have not identified any suspects.
