Receptionist Chases iPhone Thief in West Bloomfield
The man drove away in a Chevrolet Malibu after taking the smart phone on Nov. 7.
A receptionist at a West Bloomfield chiropractic office told West Bloomfield Township Police Nov. 7 that she chased a man who grabbed her iPhone, after he asked to use the Maple Road business' restroom.
According to Lieutenant Tim Diamond, the man "sprinted" from the office after the receptionist spotted him behind her desk. She ran after him and saw the man get into a vehicle and drive away.
Diamond said the receptionist was able to provide police with the Chevrolet Malibu's license plate number. The incident is under investigation.
