Rush Hour Rollover Jams Orchard Lake Road; No One Seriously Hurt

West Bloomfield Fire Department reports minor injuries to drivers of two vehicles involved.

Traffic was slowed to one lane both ways on Orchard Lake Road on Wednesday afternoon by a rollover accident in which no major injuries were reported.

Marc Lampcov of West Bloomfield told police he witnessed a Land Rover L3 turning left out of onto Orchard Lake Road, just south of Pontiac Trail, around 3:45 p.m. when it was struck by a Honda Element traveling south.

"I was headed north to pick up my kid from Keith (Elementary School), and saw that Land Rover just pull out too quickly," Lampcov said. "I stopped because he came out so fast. There wasn't any screeching tires, just impact."
