Watch Highway Dedication for Sgt. Patrick O'Rourke

The highway portion is dedicated in memory of a West Bloomfield Township police officer killed in the line of duty.

A portion of Old U.S. 23 in Livingston County was dedicated to West Bloomfield Township Police Sgt. Patrick O'Rourke Friday morning.

State Rep. Cindy Denby began the dedication process with the assistance of Michael Craine, managing director of the Livingston County Road Commission, according to a press release and private funding for the sign was arranged by Denby and state Sen. Joe Hune.
