West Bloomfield Parents Talk About Impact of Daughter's Murder

As Tiane Brown's children struggle with their mother's death, Detroit Police search for two men who may have information about the case.

West Bloomfield residents Nate and Sheryl Jones, parents of murdered Wayne State University student Tiane Brown, say Brown's children are struggling with the loss of their mother. 

The couple spoke with WXYZ-TV this week, as Detroit Police announced the search for two men who may have information about Brown's death. She was found dead inside her vehicle in Detroit on Oct. 30. 

Sheryl Jones said Brown's oldest child, who is 14, is "taking it the hardest". 

“The second one, she at one point didn’t want to talk about it but now she’s asking questions. And the baby what she does she umm looks at her picture and stares at her picture," she told WXYZ
