West Bloomfield Police Investigate Embezzlement
An employee who was given a debit card and laptop kept both items after being fired, police said.
A West Bloomfield business owner contacted police Wednesday, after an employee who was terminated kept company property.
West Bloomfield Township Police Lieutenant Curt Lawson said the owner of the business, located in the 6000 block of Long Ave., told police the employee had been given the debit card and a laptop computer.
The card was used to make unauthorized purchases, and the laptop had not been returned, Lawson said.
