I'm all for fireworks, but when kids are setting them off outside your front door all day long and late at night every night, it gets kind of ridiculous. I know people are excited about the new law, but we need to give the snap-crackle-pop a little rest and space out the fiery celebrations.

Can one of the bottle rocket lovers please help me dispose of all the red sticks on my roof and in my yard? Oh yeah, and be careful handling the ones that haven't exploded yet.

Well, like my momma used to say, "it's all fun and games until someone gets an eye poked out." What kind of consumer protections are there regarding the products themselves? In a society where everything we eat, drink, medicate with, drive, wear and use for entertainment purposes is pre-tested and re-tested ad nauseum, why are we allowed to happily purchase foreign-made products sold from hastily erected corner kiosks, run by itinerant "merchants"? Products without warranties intended for personal, home use that can cause serious bodily harm and property damage?

Got news for you folks! We surely are not the first state to pass such an, all consumer fireworks Law, and we surely arnt gonna be the last? Do your research on some of these other states who have had them for years without a change back. the prob is you folks are to lazy to do research, yep that's right! It'll die down, ordinances will be passed with time, and July will soon be long gone. Get over it and quit crying
