State Rep. Klint Kesto's tough 2014 re-election bid has landed him on Crain's Detroit list of 10 people to watch this year in state politics.

The Commerce Township Republican represents the western portion of West Bloomfield Township in the 39th District.

"n the new year, Kesto is expected to face a tough re-election challenge because of a heavy Democratic push in his district," Crain's reported.

Others on the list include Ingham County Clerk and former State Representative Barb Byrum, Lt. Gov. Brian Calley and Michigan Democratic Party Chair Lon Johnson.
