Walnut Creek Middle School is hosting a Town Hall Meeting on School Funding tonight. Many state representatives have been invited. State Reps Vicki Barnett, Lisa Brown, Kurt Heise, Dian Slavens, and Vince Gregory have confirmed they will attend.
Topics for tonight will include: Michigan General Fund and School Aid Fund Overview, proposed k-12 Budget and Reform Legislation, Legislator positions on passed and pending bills, and time for public questions and comments.
