West Bloomfield Parks and Rec Seeks Summer Intern

College students interested in a college internship with West Bloomfield Parks and Recreation have until Jan. 31, 2014 to submit an application. 

According to the department's website, the intern will get "hands on experience with special events, youth camps, park maintenance, and enrichment programs for seniors, youth and adults."  

The intern will work in an office setting, alongside customer service and public information personnel, and assist parks maintenance staff preparing athletic fields and parks for daily events. 

"West Bloomfield Parks and Recreation Commission has a number of unique facilities and programs and is committed to offering an intern a well-rounded experience in community parks and recreation," the listing reads.
