First Position on the Big Screen in HD at THE BERMAN

The Berman Center for the Performing Arts is bringing back the events of Specticast again this season! SpectiCast uses the most advanced technology to present cultural arts programming from around the world, sent via livestream or recorded in HD.

Bess Kargman’s award-winning documentary, First Position, follow six young dancers as they prepare for a chance to enter the world of professional ballet, struggling through bloodied feet, near exhaustion and debilitating injuries all while navigating the drama of adolescence. A showcase of awe-inspiring talent, tenacity and passion, First Position paints a thrilling and moving portrait of gifted young ballet stars. First Position will be shown February 12th at 2:00pm and 7:30pm. 

The Berman Center for the Performing Arts is located at 6600 W. Maple Road in West Bloomfield, MI. Shows are  at 2:00pm and 7:30pm  are $19 Admission / $17 JCC Member  including service fees. Ticket and additional information can be seen at www.theberman.org or by calling 248-661-1900.
