Bloomfield Hills Schools Superintendent Rob Glass said that among the most beneficial and enjoyable aspects of the new Bloomfield Hills High School consolidation millage vote last May were the number of town hall forums and presentations he made throughout the community.
Though there's no longer a bond to sell, Glass will continue the outreach and small-group approach to informing residents abut the district with a series of 'state of district' addresses. The first is scheduled from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the West Hills Middle School cafeteria, according to the district's website. Others are scheduled at:
- 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 14 at the Bloomfield Township Senior Services Center.
- 7-9 p.m., Feb. 28 at East Hills Middle School.
Though high school construction and next fall's transition process are big issues in the district, Glass said the presentations will be broad and cover several aspects of district's progress and challenges ahead.
"We'll discuss plans for future and give a very holistic, honest look at what’s going on and for going forward," he told BHS school board members last week.
Glass said each of the presentations will be roughly identical.
