“Election 2012:Obama,Romney and the Jewish Vote,” will be the subject of a discussion andanalysis by JTA’s Ron Kampeas and Ami Eden at Temple Israel in West Bloomfieldon Wednesday, October 10 at 7 p.m.

Moderated by Arthur Horwitz, publisher and
executive editor of the Detroit JewishNews, the program will explore Jewish voting behavior during presidential
elections and the wooing of the Jewish vote by the major parties. Kampeas andEden will also examine what polling has revealed about the issues that areimportant to Jewish voters, how the parties construct their platform language
on Middle East foreign policy, and who the major Jewish ‘players’ are in presidential politics.

Ron Kampeas is JTA’s Washington bureau chief, responsible for coordinating coverage in the U.S. capital and analyzing political developments that affect the Jewish world.
