Last Chance: Participate in Focus Group

Final meeting for parents takes place Tuesday at 7 p.m.

This week, don't miss your last chance to:

The West Bloomfield School District is hosting a series of focus groups, called the School Enrollment And Facilities Project. At your forum, you will be shown demographic maps of our school district, broken down into enrollment by schools, and enrollment of resident and choice students.

You will be given the opportunity to vote anonymously on key issues related to school enrollment, consolidation, and priorities for the district. Meetings will be two hours.

Three meetings were scheduled in March and the final few in which parents are eligible to participate meet this week. On Monday, the meeting will take place at , 6000 Orchard Lake Rd. (7 p.m.) and on Tuesday, the meeting will take place at , 3380 Orchard Lake Rd. (7 p.m.).

Local parent Christy Forhan commented on Patch: "You don't have to have kids in school to have a vested interest in this project," she wrote. "Your time will be respected, and you will get to provide meaningful input."
