West Bloomfield High School Theatre Arts program's production of Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird closes Saturday, with performances at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
The play faithfully follows the novel upon which it is based, exploring the lives and interactions of people in a rural Southern town during the Great Depression. Powerful and engaging, Harper Lee’s exploration of racial injustice, loss of innocence, and class distinctions continues to captivate and challenge the imagination.
