West Bloomfield Family Fun Night Honors Military, Police and Firefighters

The free event is held before the Sept. 20 West Bloomfield High football game.

West Bloomfield School District will hold its Third Annual Family Fun Night (The Trilogy) prior to the Sept. 20, 7 p.m., West Bloomfield High football game against Rochester High School.

The fun community evening offers bounce houses, face painting, a rock climbing wall, an inflatable football toss, photo Booth, G.I. Johnny air balloon, dunk tanks, Army dog tags and an F-16 Mini Fighter Jet, all free of charge from 5 p.m.-6:30 p.m. Free cider and donuts, flash drives and other prizes will be given out while supplies last.

In addition to the activities, police and rescue vehicles, a fire engine, patrol boat, and military vehicles will be on display, and a tribute ceremony at 6:45 p.m. will honor those who served in the Armed Forces and local police and firefighters.

Entry to the football game will be $5 for adults. Elementary and middle school students wearing their school spirit will enter the game for free. A half-time show will feature t-shirts and other giveaways, Marching Band and Dance Team performances.
