West Bloomfield Principal Earns Community Service Award

Dr. Beth Feiten receives the award during the Keego Harbor Optimist Club annual Installation Dinner.

Dr. Beth Feiten, principal at Roosevelt Elementary School, received the Ledge Tomlinson Community Service Award during the the Keego Harbor Optimist Club annual Installation Dinner Sept. 11 at the Oakland County Boat Club.

The Ledge Tomlinson Award goes to someone dedicated not only to the community at large, but to the Club, helping to shape youth for the future.

Feiten has been with the club for four years, and has served as treasurer for two years. She organizes many activities including pumpkin decorating and lunch with Santa, and serves on the high school scholarship committee, among other tasks.
