When Do West Bloomfield Area Schools Close for Thanksgiving?
West Bloomfield, Walled Lake and Bloomfield school districts have slightly different holiday week schedules.
Students in West Bloomfield School District begin their Thanksgiving breaks on Nov. 27, but those in Walled Lake schools will wait just a little longer.
Walled Lake's recess begins on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28, but lasts through Monday, Dec. 2, while West Bloomfield students are back in class on Monday.
Bloomfield Schools middle school and elementary at middle school students have the afternoon off on Nov. 26, then Thanksgiving recess for all grades begins Nov. 27. All students return to school Dec. 2.
