Win Book Scholarship at West Bloomfield College Fair

The Keego Harbor and West Bloomfield Optimist clubs donate prizes for the Oct. 16 On-Site College Admissions Fair.

Thanks to the Keego Harbor and West Bloomfield Optimist Clubs, seniors who attend an Oct. 16 West Bloomfield High event will have a chance to win scholarships for books.

The school will host its Third Annual On-Site College Admissions Fair from 7:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., giving seniors the opportunity to meet with admissions counselors from 15 universities, before the Nov. 1 early admissions deadline at many schools.

Students may also take an aptitude test offered by the Armed Service, or attend informational meetings on scholarship opportunities and preparing for college.

Many of the participating universities offer free applications, and transcripts and ACT scores will be provided to each university free of charge by West Bloomfield High School, for every participating student at this event.
