Farmington Family YMCA to Hold Women's Self-Defense Seminar
Ladies, we know you are busy running errands and taking care of the kids; but when you are bringing in the groceries, are you paying attention to your surroundings? How would you protect yourself and your kids if you become thretatened?
The Farmington Hills/Farmington Emergency Preparedness Commission (EPC) and the Farmington Family YMCA will present a women’s self defense seminar.
Over one thousand women have participated in the EPC’s popular self-defense seminars, which have been presented ten times during the past six years. The class will be taught by Jeff Duncan, master instructor and sixth degree black belt. Through a series of close-range drills, women will learn both situational awareness and self-defense skills.
