West Bloomfield Yoga Shelter, Lead By Jodi Silverman, prenatal yoga specialist
The practice of yoga during pregnancy is perhaps the most powerful tool a woman with child can undertake. Yoga Shelter’s Prenatal Yoga will help a mother-to-be further develop her mastery of breath, focus, and awareness – three factors imperative to help ease the challenges of pregnancy and childbirth. Whether it’s a mother’s first or fifth child, specific yoga exercises will be used to help participants increase flexibility, decrease swelling and anxiety, and divert the pain of labor. Yoga Shelter’s prenatal pro will teach deep breathing exercises and a thoughtful physical practice helping students adapt to their physical changes during pregnancy. Even more, students will enjoy this open and relaxed Yoga Shelter community where sharing experiences with other mothers-to-be is encouraged. Call 248.538.0200.
Prenatal yoga is free with a Yoga Shelter membership. Please contact the West Bloomfield studio for prices.
