Free Press Honors West Bloomfield Scholar Athletes
Three University of Michigan-bound high school seniors were among the six from West Bloomfield chosen by their schools.
In April, the Detroit Free Press asked each high school in the state of Michigan for its top scholar athlete — the students who best combine academic excellence and on-field achievement.
Of the 450 schools which responded, six chose senior students from West Bloomfield. (Maybe it's something in the water?) Each one is headed to universities including Michigan, Michigan State, Indiana Wesleyan and Harvard.
