Orchard Lake Art Fair Gets Underway in West Bloomfield
Opening day weather is perfect, but the National Weather Service predicts a chance of showers overnight and into Saturday.
The Orchard Lake Fine Art Fair opened late Friday afternoon on Powers and Daly Roads, just off Orchard Lake in West Bloomfield.
Traffic was heavy on Orchard Lake south of Maple, but plenty of free parking remained open behind the Beaumont medical building as artists put the finishing touches on their booths.
Skies are expected to remain partly cloudy through Friday evening, with a chance of rain and thunderstorms after 1 a.m. Saturday and continuing throughout the day. The fair is open until 9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $5; kids 12 and under are admitted free. Learn more at hotworks.org.
