Great picture! Again reminding me of the waste of not having a downtown park with splash pad type fountain. The perfect place would be in front of, or adjacent to the Memorial in the library -Stardream-memorial park that has only a pitiful few benches. It can be tastefully done and and be a beautiful adjunctive tribute to the memorial for those who died our right to live and play in freedom. As it is adults take the kids to the memorial and the kids play on it. Kids are kids. This little park could be a major attraction for the Farmer's market with its neglected weed garden, the library, and yes even downtown businesses that take more than they give to the residents of Royal Oak. Anyone out there agree, please comment here and at a council meeting.
