See Beautiful Sylvan Lake Homes, Gardens on Saturday Tour

Join the Sylvan Lake Home & Garden Tour Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and see seven of the community's most beautiful homes. 

Two gardens are also featured on the tour, with free lemonade and homemade cookies served at the Community Center, 2456 Pontiac Dr. Sylvan Lake Historical Displays will be featured there as well. 

Tickets are $15 the day of the tour and available at Sylvan Lake City Hall, 1820 Inverness, or online at sylvanlakehometour.com. Turn in your ticket for a wrist band, tour book and map, then bike, walk or ride in a shuttle van through the community. 

One of the tour homes is a 1928 Montgomery Ward kit home with a glass atrium overlooking the lake. It features walnut and oak flooring, was totally renovated in 2005 and offers spectacular views of the lovely gardens and Sylvan Lake.
