Fall Walking

I love my dog.   No matter how bad of a day I've had, she's always happy to see me and greet me with her goofy wiggle.

My girls will say that I love her more than I love them.     That isn't quite true.   At one point in their lives, I didn't have to worry if my girls were fed or had fresh water.    And I never had to take them outside in a rain storm to peeps!    Just that feature alone puts them higher on the love scale than the dog!

Which brings me to the point of my blog today.    For some reason, when the leaves start to fall, it seems like my neighbors tend to forget that they still need to scoop the poop when they are walking Fido.    Now I know from experience that it's a lot like finding Hoffa's body when the pooch picks a yard that hasn't had the leaves picked up, but think that process through:  Would you like to pick up leaves with chunks?    Remember jumping in a nice pile of leaves as a kid?   (I know you're getting the picture!)

Be a good pet owner and a good neighbor.   Take your dog for a walk every day...and don't forget the bags!
