Interact Club Collecting Blankets for Homeless

Good morning, West Bloomfield!

This weekend, I went to the for an update from the West Bloomfield Interact Club, a group of students between grades 6-12 who are developing leadership qualities in helping other people. I spoke with Janelle Hasenauer, a senior at , about the groups latest mission — to collect as many blankets as possible for donation to homeless shelters in Detroit.

As a result of Saturday's blanket drive, the club will be donating 50 blankets. If you'd like to contribute, there's still time — contact the Executive Secretary of the Rotary Club, Kelly Wong, kwongkelly@gmail.com.
