See Wings Over America Film This Week in West Bloomfield

A concert film featuring Paul McCartney and Wings will be shown at Berman Center for the Performing Arts.

The Berman Center for the Performing Arts on Maple Road in West Bloomfield will screen ROCKSHOW: from the Wings Over America tour on Wednesday at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. 

With digitally remastered audio and video, the film shows this classic rock band, featuring Paul McCartney, as they traverse North America during their 1976 tour.  

Originally released in 1980, ROCKSHOW features 30 Wings songs from four concerts of the tour, which spawned the triple live album Wings Over America.

The British rock group was formed in 1971 by Paul McCartney with his wife Linda McCartney, session drummer Denny Seiwell and former Moody Blues guitarist Denny Laine. Wings had 12 top 10 singles in the United Kingdom and 14 top 10 singles in the United States.
