Bloomer Park sits on the shore of Middle Straits Lake. Although there is no swimming allowed at this park, there is public boat launch. The park is connected by bike paths to the area’s subdivisions, and there are walking trails through the woods on park property. Within the park there is a picnic shelter, seasonal restrooms, basketball court and play structure. Pathways leading to the picnic shelter, restroom, basketball court, the play structure area and the trail are accessible. There are also park benches that overlook the lake.

On Saturday my husband and I took our grand daughter to this park for the very first time and I truly enjoyed myself there. It was so serene and peaceful, I enjoyed she and I putting our feet in the lake looking for small seashells and she playing with the seaweed, the boats were out racing on the water which gave us something fun to see, it is a very clean and well kept family park and the bathrooms were very clean and sanitized which I give (5) thumbs up. I will come back again and again to enjoy a peaceful day at this park as well as have a family picnic.
